There are 6 FDA-approved medications for weight loss. (There is a 7th but that is only for obesity caused by specific, rare genetic conditions.) At Balance Weight Loss we have experience with all of these medications and will find the medication and dose that will help you succeed.

The newest of the weight loss medications are semaglutide and tirzepatide. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 RA better known as Ozempic® and Wegovy®. Tirzepatide is also a GLP-1 RA with an attached peptide that is better known as Mounjaro® and Zepbound®.   There is a reason that these medications are in all the headlines; because they really work!
